I want to get some cheap track time, but don't have any transportation for my track bike that weekend. I usually borrow one of the vehicles from work, but neither are available. Anyone have extra room in their trailer? I live right by 53.

When are you planning to go? We have a group of us that go and we usually have some room.

Ideally you'd pick me up at like 6-7 Friday. I can make anything work, though, but I'd like to do the full weekend. Or were you asking which weekend? (8/3 - 8/4 discounted north course)

I think I can get a 2-bike open trailer for the weekend, but I have nothing that can tow it. A few flexible alternatives that might help.

    BEFORE
-I can deliver my bike to you this week before Friday if you're nearby.
-You can pick up my bike from Maywood (off 290) 8/2 before 5 PM.
-You can pick up my bike from Arlington Heights (off 53).
-I can transport myself and my gear if necessary or more convenient. The only thing I cannot transport is my bike.

    AFTER
-You can drop off my bike in Maywood during business hours.
-You can drop off my bike in Arlington Heights after business hours or during the weekend.
-I can pick up my bike from you after 1-2 weeks.

Can you drive a stick? My jeep's not doing anything.

Never have before, but I've been meaning to learn. How hard can it be? I doubt you want me learning on your Jeep while towing a trailer, though.

I'm getting stick-driving lessons from a friend tomorrow. Depending on how that goes, does your offer still stand?

:jester: so... if you get that offer, and tow the 2 bike open trailer, can I get the other spot?

I'm not sure. Two bikes might be a bit much for that small jeep. It would be up to him. Not sure if he would even want a stick-driving newb behind the wheel.

I learned to drive stick. It looks like I got a ride for my bike, though.
