For those of you not wanting to enter you credit card info into our online registration store we offer the following options for registration: PROCEEDURE: Register on-line exactly as you have in the past BUT when the system asks for you CC info enter 4555 5555 5555 5555 and put an expiration date of your choosing in. Check out as you normally would and print your confirmation. NOTE: Please provide daytime and evening contact numbers In comments section please put "Call for CC Number" or "Mailing Check" This allows your spot(s) to be reserved and allows our automated system to prevent over booking of events. This method still allows for the convience of on-line booking of your date(s) without entering you CC data. If you are "mailing a check" please remember your spot is guaranteed when we recieve your payment. We will hold the spots of those paying by check for three business days to allow time for payment to reach us. We suggest priority mail flat-rate (2 to 3 days from any address in USA) for $3.85. We hope this offers an acceptable alternative to our members for registering for our events PURCHASING MERCHANDISE (TIRES, GEAR, ETC...) The STT merchandise store is not VP-ASP and was not affected. However, if you do not wish to enter you CC information, when the system asks for you CC info enter 4555 5555 5555 5555 and put an expiration date of your choosing in. Check out as you normally would and print your confirmation. NOTE: Please provide daytime and evening contact numbers We wc annot ship any products until we obtain and process your valid payment information. If you choose to pay by check for items purchased from the store, we will hold shipments until you check clears (apporximately 10 days) our bank.
Sounds like that will work for me for now. I'm still staying!! I will use the alternative payment options for a little while. Thanks. The Rabbit
Re: ALTERATIVE PAYMENT / REGISTRATION & PURCHASING TIR good move, monte. at least until the paranoia wears down. see you at putnam.
We just purchased "Hacker Safe" which is a service that probes our webstore(s) every single day for any vulnerabilities and automaticlly reports back to us. It certifies the store(s) daily after the scan(s). We can also ask it to scan up to as often as every 15-minutes. They also link us to any updates. It's an excellent sevice (not cheap!!!) and we feel to offer good customer service and peace of mind it is well worth it.
The Hacker Safe thing sounds cool. If it's new and all ready running I will try my luck at some on line purchases with it. Just let me know when it's good. I want to buy some Garne boots off of you guys pretty soon. Oh, I did get my money back from the bank too. With a new card. So that's a good thing. Now that I got my money back I could pick up my new Haulmark 5x8 . Take care. The Rabbit
If you're paying with cash, yes. Otherwise pre-orders must be pre-paid. Pre-ordering is designed to save time in the morning and paperwork for our tire guy so he can flip rubber. You pre-order, we bring your tires and you just grab em and go, or it reserves your tires so you can wonder over at your liesure and get them sometime during the event and you'll be assured that your selection is there. Thanks, Monte
I just wanted you to know that I used your secure order system to order those boots. It seemed pretty trustworthy to me. 8)
Only the Registration Shopping Cart program was involved, our gear store was never compromised. Thank you!! Monte
PayPal charges a fee on each purchase that can cut into the price STT can offer. Having said that, I am super leery now of using my card on sites that don't do Paypal. I bought some new trailer tires today from etrailer in texas and phoned the order in. Made sure my credit card number wasn't entered into their computer, just punched into a credit card machine. but I am placing an order on this site for a new set of tires tonight. I know this sucker is bolted down ....
ohhhh .... no Michelin Sport Cups for my kawi anymore???? man, I need to get off the internet ... all kinds of shiz is happening to me today ...
Monte, Good Job on going above and beyond for us (members) - I was compromised and it was a pain to deal with but glad to see how serious STT is taking this and keeping communication heightened at the same time .....
Indeed, Monte... your CC nyumber of 4555 5555 5555 5555 is rejected by the system, and wont let us follow the above procedure. I think I tried it every which way. What to do? I'll call you guys and leave a message about this.
anyone had problems gettign their #'s hacked lately? I'm trying to sign up for a trackday over the phone but Bonnie and I keep playing phone tag. Oh and I had problems using the 4555 5555 5555 5555 on the site as well D
