Anyone know what's up for Daytona? I'm not seeing any TV listings. I know there was trouble last year but I thought they had reached some sort of agreement for 2014.
Should be a live feed announced here soon on amaproracing.com if a TV deal is not made.... Kind of sad but reality..
Not as of right now. Speed is now Fox Sports 1 and there was nothing on their lineup as of last night. I haven't checked today.
This is the latest news I can see, and it isn't good. http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2014/Mar/140304nodaytona200tv.htm
Road Racing World article 3/4 no tv coverage as of now, possibly webcast or late deal struck. This is terrible DMG has really taken this to a new low. Only five venues this year for racing ! Thank goodness for MotoGp & WSBK broadcast even if it is on the web. Hint : For SBK go to the 666Sicco on you tube for almost immediate broadcasts of the 2 races ! Also QuartarUp on You Tube. They are delayed but at least you do not have to pay to watch them on that "Hadji" Channel on Direct Tv Bein Sports.
You Tube also shows all supersport, superstock SBK and Moto2, & Moto 3. Isle of Man can be seen on Velocity (Discovery Channel) on delay but it is from the same day. Coming in June. They show highlights & races !
Well…looks like AMA is heading towards irrelevancy unfortunately... No TV, no sponsors - no sponsors, no racing...
Sooo, for people who work all through the events. Where can we watch sessions that already took place? Maybe I just haven't figured out the fanschoice.tv yet.. but it seems like it is a live only thing. Any suggestions? Maybe I am not looking hard enough on Fanschoice.. :noidea:
I watched the Superbike race about an hour ago. I watched on my phone. I went to the main site and clicked the pic of the race. I saw a big Play button and clicked it. Later I tried to find others but could not figure it out either. I chocked it up to my tiny phone and poor rendering on the small screen.
The feed was great; it wasn't choppy like you usually get from other live streams. I think I heard them say the other AMA races this year were going to be covered as well. :thumb:
I am so happy with how the races turned out. Phenomenal coverage, much better than anything any network could ever broadcast. All of the pre race footage, post race celebrations, middle fingers, nothing was missed and with no commercial breaks. Can everything be this way from now on? :thumb::love:
