Hey All, I’m new around here, and to track day’s, but I’ve been riding the street on and off for a while. Just got a new ST in November, hence the screen name. I did a track day at Barber about 12 years ago on a ZZR1200, and loved it, and I’m Jonesing to get back out on a track with the new ride. Most riding now is commuting, with weekends in N.Ga. when I can. I live near Road Atlanta, and I’d love to ride there. In the meantime, reading forums to learn, and hope to meet some good people.

Welcome from a fellow newbie! I did my first track day earlier this year at Little Tally and it was a blast! Going back to Little Tally early June and doing both days and camping. The people that run the events are super nice and friendly.

Welcome back to this awesome community! The STT forum members are awesome and will always be available to help you. I would like to personally invite to ask Sportbike Tire Service any questions regarding tires or related items in the near future. Having the proper tires will always be one of the key things to have to insure your safety and provide the super fun factor we all strive for. Please be safe and have a blast!

Thanks all. I’m actually due for tires soon, but unfortunately I have to compromise. I do mostly street riding and commuting, with the occasional track day, so until I can justify a track-only bike, tires have to be multipurpose. Currently considering Road 4 or 5, or Angel GT’s, so feedback there would be appreciated. I’m aiming for Road Atlanta in August for the track. I live 40 minutes from there. I’m hoping to bring a couple more people so I can hook up with someone bringing a canopy, etc.
