Just got started track riding last year and am hooked. I try to ride one trackday weekend per month as I'm on a budget so ride sharing would help out. I haven't booked a date yet for February but it will most likely be @ MSRH with ridesmart on the 7th or a 2 day weekend @ JenningsGp. I just rode Jennings last weekend (January 3-4) so I'd rather ride a different track but not much else is available. There is a possibility that my new friend in Florida hooks us up for a ride @ PBIR where the plan is to meet at his house near JenningsGp and load up as a group. You don't have to be in St. Louis either, we could meet if we are on each other's line of travel. Haven't had any luck finding riders on the local forums who want to travel like I do, am I the only one?

I love up north of ya, but I know a guy from St Louis who does track days very oftenly and he likes to travel when possible. I'm sure he'll reply on your post. Anyway whenever you come up to Illinois to ride ACC, or Grattan, Gingerman, maybe RA and BHF I'll try to be there.

I'll try to travel down south so I'll be looking for people to go with as well.

I am in STL now for Law School. I travel as much as I can to both north and south events. School pretty well dictates my schedule until summer, but I travel pretty regularly after that.

What part of STL are you in?

BHF is defiantly on my 2015 tracks to ride. There are several track day orgs that run there, do most people here only ride with STT?

I am between creve coeur and Maryland Heights in the county. Many people here ride with other orgs I think. I have been working for STT for going on 15 years now, so i generally don't ride with other companies.

Not to place commentary on them being better or worse, I just don't have a need to.

I've ridden with 4 different orgs and they have all been similar. I have not ridden with STT yet but have heard that the rules are pretty strict, which is great for me as I'm not a racer. I'm on a budget so if I can buy a pass that gives me a lower price per track day, that's what I'd like to do. I like to ride a variety of tracks and STT's schedule delivers! I'm waiting for the website to be done so I can see what levels of passes are available. I have a pass for JenningsGp for the winter months and I also have ridden with Ridesmart in Texas. Trying to decide if I want to ride MSRH February 7th or go back to Jennings for a 2-3 day weekend.

I wouldn't call our rules "strict" necessarily. We definitely have rules and we enforce them in a manner that maintains safety for all involved.

At the same time, we have some of the best instruction, and instructors, in the industry. In fact, some other orgs have simply copied our program and claim it as their own. When you come to our days, you will see a difference for sure. A difference for the better!

Grab an orange vest and use them to improve! You don't have to want to race to get good instruction! I look forward to meeting you and seeing you at the track!

Rules are for everybody's safety. I appreciate orgs that enforce their rules. Looking forward to riding with STT soon. Anybody planning a ride for February? I'm leaning towards JenningsGp......

I have nothing in February but classes. March holds possible for Barber and then April starts the season up north.

I'll be relocating to the O'Fallon area at some point this spring. I plan on using up all the vacation I didn't take last year! I'll have room for one more. So keep in touch.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still waiting for the website to be finished so I can look into buying a pass. Planning on doing the first Barber weekend in March. Going to JenningsGp either the first or third weekend in February.

The site is up and running and I'm now a member with a $3000 loyalty card, woo hoo! Now I have to plan out my year. The goal is one track day weekend per month and to ride tracks I haven't seen yet. I just started track riding last year so my list of tracks ridden is short. Gateway STL, Heartland Park Topeka, Putnam Park, National Corvette Museum, Texas World Speedway and JenningsGp. I still have two weekends @ Jennings and one weekend with RideSmart in Texas via credits on passes I bought with them so that covers me for 2015. Looking forward to going to new places and making new friends!

I live in Rock Hill. Same deal, 2014 was my first track season and I'm hooked. I'm planning on going to ACC or BHF as much as I can this year and I'm open to other tracks in the area. I'm looking for people to go with too, so let's work something out for some weekends this season.

You guys definitely don't want to miss out on the NCM event(s). Awesome new track and probably no further away from St. Louis than Blackhawk or ACC.

I did NCM in October and the track is awesome! I did my first track day in August 2014 at Gateway on a 2012 CBR250R. After that I knew I was hooked so the very next week I bought a 2013 ZX6R. Since then I've been to Heartland Park, Putnam Park, NCM, Texas World Speedway and JenningsGp. I'm kinda on a roll so I'm hoping to keep riding new tracks but being winter and all, Jennings is my next ride unless I wait till March to ride Barber. I chose STT because of the many tracks on the schedule. I've not ridden with this group yet so I am anxiously waiting...:woot:

Because of the amount of equipment accumulating in my small enclosed trailer, ride sharing is probably out for me. The tow vehicle I have isn't capable of adding another bikes weight and I camp at the tracks in the trailer to save money. My budget is getting tight! My goal is to ride as many different tracks as I can this year. Since weather is always unpredictable, I've invested in a set of rain tires, a portable tire changer, air tank and balancer. This will also come in handy to do tire flips so I can get the most out of my rear tires at tracks like Jennings. I learned my lesson there! If any of you have a larger trailer/tow vehicle, can take on another bike and you're camping at the track as well, that could work and I'd split the gas cost. I'm thinking about going to Jennings this weekend as the weather is looking good. I'll be watching the weather for Barber in March and I have already booked NOLA for April 18-19. I can handle wet conditions but I hate the cold! Can't wait for spring!!!
