Are there any IR transmitters for old lap timers left?

Hey all. I know most folks have moved up to GPS based lap timers, but I was wondering if anyone knows if I can use a different brand transmitter with my old XT set up. I tried contacting the manufacturer to answer my question, but unfortunately it looks like they're out of business, so...

I've found a few individual transmitters online for ~$50 or so. While I'd love to have on, I'm not really ready to step up to a newer GPS unit just yet since mine still works really well and, like a lot of us, are operating on a slimmer budget than we'd like. It's just getting less and less common that anyone else is using an IR set up so mine ends up about as useful as a paper weight.

    Recommendations/thoughts?

    Thanks,
    J

I have an XT transmitter, data transfer unit, and software just sitting around. PM me your contact info and we can sort out the specifics.
