Rent or buy, these things are worth their weight in gold. When looking to buy - find one you like and if at all possible try it on first. Look for the most comfy one with the most coverage & protection.
    These things are a lifesaver!

Are there any specifications or regulations for back protectors? I am interested in the soft type armor like Forcefield and Impact. Any opinion or "testing" experience would be appreciated. Also, does any race organization have different requirements.
