trust me, I know lap times aren't an accurate judge of skill and all that (I'm on an SV650...) but I'm doing a weekend with STT at Barber in September and I'm not sure about running intermediate or advance. At the WERA national at Barber, I was running 1:46's on my SV (I wanna say 1:43 on my F4i doing trackdays there last year). I need to be in the 1:44's on my SV by the end of that weekend though. Any suggestions? The I group is sold out Saturday, so that is my issue. Its either run A or only do Sunday last time I ran with ya'll I was used to running the B-group with that other org (the one that "sucks" apparently) so I ran novice with STT and it was a nightmare. I was several seconds faster than everybody else there (not including instructors obviously) and had to pull onto pit lane to avoid major traffic way more often than I would like. Not STTs fault but I don't want to get stuck in the wrong group again, I need the track time to get ready for the WERA race there later in September. thanks in advance ya'll, I look forward to riding with STT again I love Barber btw
Barber You should not have a problem running those times in Advanced. The last couple of times there, a couple of my buddies were running mid 40's and had a good time with no incidents.
