I am in between choices. One side I have BHF with midwest track day, it's about 1:45 hrs from home. In the other hand Grattan with STT about 4hrs.

BHF will be less expensive but probably Grattan would be more fun. So money or teavel is not the issue. Never been in either/or so I want to hear from who has experienced both. I ride novice trying to get bump up to I. Please share your thoughts or any pointer so I can make up my mind already!!!

If you've never been to Grattan it's going to be a challenge. I was there once and it was a nightmare in the beginning. A lot of difficult turns and half of them are blind. After I got used to it, it was fun to ride, but BFR is definitely a better choice for a novice imho. Good luck and have fun.

That's what I've heard about Grattan. I am up for the challenge I can learn the track my first half of the day or longer if I need then I could go a notch faster.
Then BHF I wanna go there at least once. I would like to know how narrow and challenging it is.

Go to Grattan, it's an AWESOME track.

The STT Novice program is very good, sign up for Novice. We can get you into the appropriate slot for your skill level and show you the lines around the track. Many people go faster in Novice than they would in Intermediate, especially at a new track. The Novice number 1 and 2 groups usually have a very nice pace to them and the group is small. Take advantage of the instructors, learn the lines on the track, then worry about trying to get bumped to Intermediate. If you're ready, an instructor can bump you up to the Intermediate group for Sunday. If you do go to Intermediate on Sunday, you will be glad you did Novice the day before, you will already know the proper lines. Grattan is technical, but that's what makes it so much fun.

I've done a couple track days with STT I just don't know if I should go there or stay local at BHF. Since I am going all by myself I am a bit scared of going all the way up there for the whowhole weakened.
Do you know if Sunday is going to be CCW?

Between the two tracks, Grattan would be my choice.

Personally I take the closer track every time when I'm by myself. I've sat out many a weekends when I couldn't find someone to go with me.

So it's basically two tracks for the weakened, interesting!
