I was thinking of buying one that fit into the hitch. I was wondering if anyone has used one and what their thoughts were. Thanks

I've seen those used for dirt bikes but it seems like on a sportbike there would be alot of stress on the tie downs during accel and decel. Most hitches are only rated for 300 or 500lb tongue weights too. I work at a bike shop and in the catalog it says that you should divide your rated hitch tongue weight by half because of the distance from the hitch having more leverage. Just spend a few more $$ and get a open trailer that can haul two bikes and then you can make a friend buy half the gas on trips.

I know a guy that bought one to use on a motorhome. He said it worked well, but was a major pain in the butt to get his VFR on it by himself.

I use one for my son's dirt bike, but but an XR50 is a lot easer to load than a sportbike.

I'll sell you my 5x8 tilt bed trailer for 600 bucks.

Thanks for the replies. I have seen a RC51 going down the rode on one before so I figured my zx6rr would be fine. I am also worried about the weight of the bike that is why I wanted to see if anyone had used one before buying one. On long trips I don't want to deal with the trailer. Thanks

I used a mototote last year on my Ford Excusion. I was tired of worrying about wheel bearings and all the other hasseles that go along with a trailor. After I got used to worrying about the bike, it was was great. I logged 15,000 miles with my Aprilia Mille, on the back, and had no worries. I may be selling mine, I am getting an RV and I don't think I need mine. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to tote a dirt bike up to a 750 lb bike.

He got a real job. I guess he also wanted to spend more time at home. He did have a guy working for him at the nesba events. Jack is missed though great guy, great photos, and great prices.

That sucks about your hot water heater.

They are great.... I borrowed one this year and will be using it again at Barber in June... ***Even with a Moto Tot make sure you dont go over the 500LB tongue limit***... As far as the bike under braking conditions it didn't budge... Also tie the rearsets down from end to end using the same tie down and it keeps it more stable...

I have one to haul my Zuma on the motorhome. It works great for that. I hauled my 636 with it once f or about 30 miles and it seemd fine. I'm not sure I wwould do that for a long distance though. Might be messy in the rain.
