Is this boot/glove combo acceptable for Autobahn country club Novice class this Sept. 1st? I am ready to purchase my track time, just need to know if other gear has to be acquired. Also, I am 5' 5'' - 150lbs and must be sure there is a suit available for Rent the day of Sept. 1st. I have been told a '40' should be about right. Thanks In advance Anyone with answers!!
According to the sportbiketracktime.com Official Rules: Source: http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/track-day-regulations.html :thumb:
Quote Advanced and Intermediate group riders are required to wear back protectors. Soft back pads sewn into suits are not enough. We sell Knox back protectors at special STT member discounts. We can arrange to deliver your new back protector to you the day of your event or ship it to your home. We have a limited number of back protectors for rent at each event. Any idea where to buy the Knox back protector on SST web page, can't seem to find it
Not sure they still sell them.. Racers café who brings the suits to most Michigan days I think is who you would get them from. Sport bike track gear is where I got mine. Gloves are great boots are ok. but I would consider up grading the boot to a over the suit pair if you get hooked.
Thanks, maybe if I tell sportbike track gear I'm a sportbike track time member I might get a better price.
