I was planning on going down a day early to see the museum, so I think I'll see how well I sleep Thursday night in the pickup. If it's bad, I'll see if there are any rooms available.
There are a few places the next exit east so there should be something. I would not want to sleep in an unheated truck this time of year but I don't have the jello thick blood of a northerner now.
I plan to sleep in my Element all weekend but then again I'll sleep in a tent as long as it's 30 degrees out (my sleeping bag's rating).
