Had a ride, but it fell through. I'd like to get to Grattan for the LADIES DAY on Friday July 5th, staying through the weekend to ride both Sat/Sun July 6th & 7th. I'm from Bolingbrook. Happy to share travel expenses. Hell, I'll even cater your weekend if you can get me to/from the track.
Anything pan out for you? I just got a free day (7/7) and need to figure out something for myself. I could hitch up my SUV and rent a trailer, but I'm not super stoked on the idea of rolling solo to my first track day.
No. I ended up renting a car, so now my plan is to leave Chicagoland at 7am on Thursday, and head back to Chicago Sunday night. Are you looking to go up early and spend time at the track before your riding day?
I would love to be there all weekend, but I have my sisters in town for the 4th (going to see Book of Mormon Fri night as well) so I can't head to Grattan until Saturday at the earliest.
