I installed my vortex clipons awhile back and finally got them to when I want them. My only issue now is that my throttle cables hit/rub on the cowling. The throttle performance is not interuppted while this is happening but I cant imagine it is good for the cables to be bunched up during tight turns. As anyone else dealt with this and have a solution? Thanks! 2011 zx6r

To really check start your bike in neutral.... Then turn the clip-ons to the stops in both ways... If the revs don't go up your fine.. If they do go up then you need to fix...

Also bring it slightly off of idle and check it is not pushed.

The best news is unless you are doing a tank slapper you will be no where near full lock unless it is just prior to hitting the ground.
