I'm no Z. Davis, but I did accomplish my goal at Road Atlanta; keeping the bike and me in one piece and ditching the orange shirt. This is the last time you'll see me wearing it. Race 1: Stalled on the start Curb caught slider and ripped my foot off the peg Ran into the grass coming out of T12 Race 2: Crappy start, last into T1 Blew T12 and had to run up the hill, through the old pit, and back onto the track. Overall I'm not too happy with my performance, but at least I'm not wearing this shirt anymore.
Nice job getting rid of the orange shirt!! Hopefully I'll get rid of mine at Tally in Aug. Sounds like you had a bit of a frustrating day, but like you said you kept it upright and I'm sure you learned a few things too. Props to you for getting out there and competing, Swod!:thumb:
