Whew - the "better late than never" facts - sorry!!!!!!

Gates open approx 5:30-6:00pm Friday night and stay open til 10:00pm, if you make it in by 10:00pm you can then come 24/7, if you don't make it by 10:00pm gates re-open Sat at 7:00am-9:00pm and Sun 7:00am-9:00pm, Mon 7:00am-4:00pm. Barber is in the Central Time Zone.

WE WILL HAVE TWO GATE PEOPLE FRIDAY TO HELP WITH THE RUSH!

There is a $5 per person, per day, gate fee for Sportbike Track Time events at Barber. Bring some cash with you!!!!!!

We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for Southern rain showers.

You must walk to the Porsche building and get your wristband before you can get into the paddock. If you need camping or electric, you can pay for that when you get your wristband.

If you arrive early please park where the gate guard directs you to park in the museum parking lot, or lot G (we use the museum parking lot until it fills up and then lot G).

If you are there early, DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT approach the Porsche/registration building until directed to do so by the guard or track management.

No drinking of beer or alcohol allowed in parking areas and no changing bike oil in parking areas.

Please note that Sportbike Track Time is the ONLY organization that Barber allows to "stage" in the museum parking lot... we want to keep it that way!

No glass bottles are allowed in the Barber paddock - bring plastic cups!

Camping is available and you pay the track for that.

Electric is available in the lower pits against the fence and in the upper pits in both sides and you have to pay the track for that.

PLEASE: use common sense for selecting your pit space. If you did not pay for power, please do not pit in front of a power pole. Please do not pit lengthwise, taking up multiple power spots, even if you did pay for power. If your rig is such that you do need to pit lengthwise, please do so in a corner of the paddock that does NOT take up multiple power spots. Note that the first tier around the tech area and in front of the building is reserved space - if you pit there without permission you will be asked to move.

No suspension service this weekend - sorry.

Sportbike Tire Service will be there with their usual awesome prices on Michelin Tires.

Tire service will be open Friday night 7:00pm-9:00pm to help you out. Then 7am to 7pm Saturday, 7am to 7pm Sunday, and 7am to 4pm Monday. We can now remove and replace your wheels for you if you do not want to get greasy.

Sign-up opens 7am and closes at 10:30am for the day. Please be on time.

Tech opens 7am and closes 10:30am each day.

Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras:

    - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle.

    - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track

    - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed.

Mandatory riders meeting 8:20am EACH AND EVERY day, Intermediate riders are first on track at 9am.

Sorry to say, pets are NOT allowed at Barber.

Showers are available on the second and third levels.

Race gas and street gas is available on second level, credit cards only.

Please keep your area clean and do not leave any race gas cans or tires when you leave.

We must be out of the paddock by 7pm Monday night!

Any questions, please post up here.

I'll be there Sunday. First time back at Barber in 10 years! Beyond stoked!

I'm curious about the new walking bridge built over the track extending from the museum. How is access regulated for that? Do you have to access it from the museum? Private access? Mainly just curious, as it was not built when I was last there.

Is the advanced group already sold out for these days? The web page only shows novice and intermediate available, but doesn't necessarily say that advanced is sold out so I was curious if I needed to call or something to get 'approval' to register for the advanced group. Thanks!

This is for last yrs (2019) November event not 2020.

Advanced is not sold out I just checked.

If you’re signed into the website and it only shows in novice or intermediate it is most likely you have not been approved or bumped to the advanced group. STT uses a bump system & doesn’t allow anybody to just sign up for advanced.

The only other way to get there is to have an expert race license. If this is the case email or call them.

    See ya at the track
    Steve
