PLEASE NOTE: Friday the track is rented - we will NOT have access until 5pm. Try not to show up early! A few particulars: - don't go into the Wooded Area - a monster lives there!!!!!! - riders that have pre-registered will have their waivers emailed to them this week, so you can print them out and sign them at home. There is the STT waiver and an additional COVID-19 waiver. - if you did not preregister or forgot/can't print your waivers - please bring your own pen to registration. - this event is a non-spectator event and limited to the rider, plus limited "crew/guests". - the bathrooms will be open with a 50% occupancy limit. - we will hold a "socially distanced" rider's meeting in the tech area. - as always - please observe social distancing practices! IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK - STAY HOME! -------------- They have new management at the food concession and I heard it's good! They'll be doing both breakfast and lunch, both days! Also - Saturday Mark and Dawn Merical will be hosting a cookout down in the tech area - just come on over and bring whatever food and drink! That will start around 6:30pm or so....... Gates open Friday approx at 5:00pm and close at 9:00pm EDT. They Re-open Sat 7am-9pm, Sun 7am-5pm EDT. CMP is in the Eastern time zone. Sportbike Track Time is not charging a gate fee at this track, however the track typically charges a gate fee for spectators and crew. You will not have to pay a gate fee (as long as you are pre-registered), your friends or crew will have to. Sorry, that's just the way they do it there. Camping is allowed and electric is available, you pay the track for that. Tech opens 7am and closes 10:30am Mandatory riders meeting 8:20am both days, Intermediate riders are first on track at 9am. Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras: - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed. Pets are allowed at CMP but must be on a leash at all times, please pick up after them. Concession stand open for breakfast and lunch if you want to buy it there. No fast food close by. Showers are available at CMP. Race gas available at the track, there is a small Jiffy store in front of the track. We ride r**n or shine, be prepared for Southern r**n showers. Sportbike Tire Service will be there for tire service all weekend long with our usual awesome prices on Michelin tires!!!! Unfortunately, no suspension service will be available.
