You only pay gate fees for the days you're riding. So if you are riding Saturday, but want to setup on Friday night, it's just the Saturday gate charge. Is it time to ride yet?!
It is absolutely KILLING me to not be out riding with all of you guys. The new Triumph has been parked since December and is very bored. Enjoy and be safe, see you in 3 weeks at Barber.
No kidding...my routine today is look at the bike...check the clock...look at the bike...check the clock. I planned on staying at work until 5 today but I'm not sure I am going to make it that long.
I had to take the day off. Haha. I drove over to Nashville last night after work so I could kinda chill out today and get set up at the track tonight. Just stayin caaaalllm. Breathing deeeeep. Do they shut the garages at night or what?
At least you can see you bike, mine is hidden out of view. I'm leaving at 3:00. I'd rather sit at the gate than sit here. Only 4 more hours and I'm out if here, unless UPS isn't here with my parts by then.
Maybe ill see you there. I was planning on leaving nash at about 4:30 but maybe I'll head up a little earlier.
I'm trying to leave Nashville about 3 also. Gotta stop and get some GAS and water. Sitting in line at the track gate is better than work anyday!
Shane and Keith. If you guys haven't left yet you might want to hold up a bit. The guard says he's not Letting us in before 6
yeah i remember from last year, he takes his job very serious.. in the morning he wont let you in till 7:01
Thank all of you that rode today for an easy work day for me. I never even pulled the ambulance on the track..... Actually, I got kind of bored.. but it was good
Thanks to all the staff especially the Novice group instructors for making my first ever track day a great experience. I was hoping to go to Barber next month but it looks like it's sold out. Anyone planning on going to Atlanta April 23rd for the NESBA track day?
hey i just wanted to thank everyone for such a great time at my first track day. everyone was really helpful, especially the instructors. special thanks to rodney for helping me sign up and getting tech done in the morning. also thanks to matt wilson for helping me throughout friday and saturday with all the small things i needed help with. i hope to be able to go to the cmp track day. it will be nice only having to drive 45 mins. thanks again to everyone AJ
Too bad Ambulance(s) went out twice today on Sunday. Weather was great both days but better Sunday. Got some great GoPro footage. The first rider the crashed that had to be evac'd (Kelly)(CBR1000); he has posted the following on another board: -------- Mary is going home to drop off the trailer and pick up some things from the house. The only broken bone I have is my clavicle. I have a small hole in my left lung which has created an air pock near my heart. The lung has a small area that is collapsed. They are keeping me in the hospital until the air pocket dissipates. The doctor expects it dissipate within 24 hours. If not, they will put a tube in my chest. More CT scans to monitor it. I think I will get a chest protector. ------------
What a great weekend..... Thanks everyone for coming....It was a great turn out and the weather was definietly in our favor... Cant wait for the night event there!!
