    A Few Questions

I have a couple of questions to keeping this thread alive...

At the start of an I group session do the bikes enter the track in small groups like the N group or is it one long train?

At Barber the turn(s) that I'm not particularly fond of are the 9 and 10 combination on the far side of the track. When riders screw up there is it usually because they are simply carrying too much speed in or are too many riders trying to squeeze into a small gap when there simply isn't room (at high speed, of course), or a combination of the two? The uphill at 4 I can deal with but I just didn't care for 9 and 10.

With turn 10 the front end gets light coming on the gas. If throttle input is abrupt, head shake can happen.
Also, with 10 it's a pretty fast turn and although it's not sharp at the speed you are going you have to push the bike some to get it turned.
That's just my thoughts. I'm no track expert.
I did not know people were having trouble with 9.
    I like this Barber video.

Talking of trains, is this you leading me at Barber last October?

I referred to the two turns combined but you are right its actually just turn 10 that I'm referring to.

Naw that isn't me. I was on a graphite 675. Funny thing is I think my avatar is from a turn 10 picture.

In the I group the usually release 10-15 bikes at a time w/control rider and the first session of the day Mark has set to school zone" speed so riders can look off track, (actually all groups 1st lap 1st session is for this purpose) After 1st lap it open up full tilt boogie.

Yup, I remember that first "full tilt boogie" lap at Barber last fall. What 3 or 4 inters went down and 2 or 3 advanced in the very first session of the day. I remember thinking "damn some of those boys are pushing it with cold rubber on a freezing track."

    It was carnage.
