Hey everyone been reading a lot of these forums in anticipation of hopefully my first track day. Bad news is i cant make any of the August and September dates for Gingerman or Gratton. The end of August at Gratton is a huge maybe. Looking at possibly doing the bike night at Gingerman on 9/17. The question is will i gain just as much from the night session as i would the normal days sessions? Looks like i might have gear all set from reading other threads. I bought some used boots and a set of used leathers i got a good deal on. Purchased those before i knew there was leathers possibly available to rent... But from the sounds of it ill be hooked and ill have a set of my own in no time anyway!!
I got my first set of leathers simply for spirited riding in the country side twisties 4 years before my first TD, LOL. I wear them/full suit often. Enjoy
I would highly Recommend to NOT do a bike night as your first day. There is no instruction or class room at bike nights. Grattan august should be a great event i highly recommend doing novice and come with a open mind and listen to your instructor you will learn a lot.
Thank you! that is what i wanted to know. With no instruction or class time i would not want that for a first time. I plan to be in Novice of course and i am ready to be coach able as i want it to be a good experience. Thank you for your input R/T i will try to attend Gratton on the 28th!
