    I have a 2012 FZ1 that uses a 190/50/17 wheel. I have spare wheels for the R6 that use 180/55/17. I believe the FZ1 wheel is ½ wider than the R6 wheel…..6” vs 5.5”.

Can I use the R6 wheel and tire on the FZ1? If so, would I need a spacer? Do the rotors need to be swapped? I think the FZ1 rotor is a little bigger. I don't plan on using the wider wheel on the R6

Sounds like you already have a pretty good handle on it... The front wheels are the same... but the rears are diff..

I understand that you're probably trying to use a set of wheels that you already have on hand.. and maybe swap from bike to bike... but not sure how much effort/cost it would take to make the R6 wheel fit on the FZ1... or what combination of spacers would make the rotor & sprocket line up. The '04-14 R1 wheel is a direct fit.. and the rear wheels can be had for around $100 on ebay or the forums...

The R1 wheel can be used on the R6 with no spacers or rotor changes? so yes, I am looking to just use one set of wheels that can be used on both bikes. The used track tires on the R6 would make good street tires on the FZ1.

From what I can find after a quick search.. it appears that the hubs are the same.. but just the rim width is different.. so spacers shouldn't be an issue.

I did see something about having to swap the cush drive???

Sorry I can't be of more help...
