OK, I got to chime in on a prety exciting race last weekend (unless you're a Hayden fan that is). I thought Speed was going to run it on Sunday afternoon, but 4-wheelers got the nod. :x

Ended watching it on You Tube througha combination of posts. One in English, the others in Italian. Still missed some time inbetween. From one clip, the two French riders where leading, next it was the two Suzukis, then Marco seemed to have taken over.

The best part was in the first 10 or so laps where the pack was a good 10 bikes fighting for position. Could have sworn I was seeing a 125 race!

I think this is the first time I've seen riders change bikes on MotoGP. Not as exciting as the Dayton Pits, but still interesting. Bike change really altered the positioning.

Seeing the two French riders take the early lead was kind of cool, from an underdog's perspective. Obviosuly, they were taking some serious risks with rain coming down, but it made for good TV.

Not quite sure what happend with Rossi's bike in the end. The only interview I found was in Italian.

I kind of gave up on Vermulin this year, but that podium win was cool. I know rain brings out the underdogs (like Kawwasaki at China last year), but it's still cool to see Chris geting the limelight.

Was pretty surprised Stoner did as well as he did. i would think that Ducati would be a huge liability in the wet.

Its getting to be a pretty good year for MotoGP.

    Hello Rich,

The Ducati is no liability at all in the wet. It has the handling to go with the power and the power advantage means he can ride more conservitively in the corners and use the motor to go fast. A stronger motor is only a liability if you need to corner as fast as possible and accelerate as soon as possible while leaned over.
