Up for sale is my tried and true 2003 Yamaha R6 race bike. I bought it from the original owner in 2006, and used it for two seasons worth of track days. It is without a doubt the best bike I have ever ridden on-track, and it corners like a dream. The engine runs smooth and strong and never gave me even a hint of trouble. I really hate to sell it, but I can no longer afford the luxury of track riding and so the bike has to go.

Here is a photo gallery of the bike.

I recently made some upgrades with the intention of returning to track riding. I had the OEM fork tubes and Penske rear shock rebuilt by CTR with Ohlins internals (for a 150-160 lb rider). I added a new Vortex triple clamp, K&N air filter, and battery. I also added a new set of Sharkskinz that are primed and ready for paint.

The bike has a Hindle high mount slip-on, Woodcraft rear sets, NRC stator cover, and a brand new Michelin Pilot rear slick. It is fully safety wired and set up for GP shift.

For anyone out there looking for a bullet-proof, reliable, eminently rideable and affordable track bike, you can't go wrong with this R6.

The bike is located in Atlanta, GA.

    $3500
