Yes the rain was a bummer. For a while I thought I should have brought a boat instead of a bike! I thought Saturday was going to be a total loss but it turned out that we at least got a few sessions in and a couple were pretty dry. Sunday turned out to be nearly perfect. Thanks for not runnin me over. That would have made a bad situation only worse. Normally, a crashing bike will slide straight off except for a track like Daytona. But then, I'm sure I looked to be having a lot of fun and you probably just wanted to join in. Shattered ankle, broken wrist, broken finger - still could have been a lot worse. Gear did its job. The bike isn't too bad. Wife told the boys to clean the grass off, duct tape it together and I'll be back out . Thanks to everyone for packing me up. And, thanks for all the well-wishes.
Heal up quick! It was not fun to watch from behind. Well, what I saw of it. Had to turn the head and go through the turn I saw enough to know it had to hurt and a red flag was coming out.
