  6. Camping

My first trackday at Gingerman, or with STT

    Quick question about camping:
I will be driving from Indiana tonight, by the time I get there, it would be mid-night. Are they going to close gates or something of that sort? Can I still enter the camp/paddock during late hours?

    ads109 What's an apex?

You should call the track to confirm this, but I think they close the front gate at 10pm (eastern time) or so. Their number is 269-253-4445.

  8. Re: Camping

The gate closes at 10 so one would think that you're not supposed to enter the grounds after 10 to camp (there is a camping fee). You could pitch your tent in the grassy (is that a word?) area just outside of the gates. I've had to do that before which also common practice at Grattan.

  9. Thanks guys. I did try to reach the track through email and left a voice message on their phone. No reply yet. I guess I will stick with the grassy. I am driving a Van to haul the cycle down there, I have room to sleep next to my bike :D

  10. Thank you!

Had a great weekend, besides sucking in rain. Thanks to Mike, and Wally... I learned a lot of good stuff.. Had a good group to tag along with. Looking forward to the next one at BG.
