Our dear friend Gixxer Jim,who many of you know,went down in the backside chicane at Barber late Sunday,second from lasr session,first lap.Two bike's got together and Jimmy flew off his bike at a high rate of speed and shattered his right elbow and ankle.Givin the area where it happened,we are all very gratefull this wasn't worse,especially with what's transpired there in the last 12 month's,we feel blessed that it wasn't worse.I'm sure he could use some cheering up as he is at UAB undergoing surgurey as we speek...so get well Jimmy,we love ya!! By the way,thank's to the corner worker's and Medical staff for taking very good care of our dear friend....we love tyou guy's too!!!!
Glad to hear that his injuries weren't worse! It didn't look well when I rode by; he wasn't moving at all. Get better soon, Jim! Less than 5 months till the next Barber-Q- I hope to see you there!
Not sure if I've ever met him or not, but I hope for a speedy recovery. I hate seeing fellow track addicts get hurt.
