I've got a new Valve kit and need my forks rebuilt. I've also got an Ohlins rear that I'd like looked at. Anyone know of a good reputable suspension shop in Michigan? I'm sure I could take it to the dealer but I was looking more toward someone with a little more focused experience on suspensions. Any help would be great! Thanks, Chad
ship it to GMD, they can do wonders with a valve kit and do good work. they have locations across the US. i use them out of atlanta and florida bc they are always at my races.
Keith is great! Keith has set up all my bikes; Aprilia, Ducati, Suzuki, Ohlins as well as I had some Penske, and Showa. He was the suspension/ crew chief on several race teams. J
I'd say get a hold of Jason Etter @734.474.9971 or better yet, email him w/a description of your bike, shocks, riding style, bidy size and weight etc @ departmentof suspension@yahoo.com.
+1 on Keith or Jason. Pretty sure neither one of them cares about the size of your "bidy" though.
Thanks for the great feed back! Looks like a road trip down to Detroit. I'll give Detroit Eurocycle a call and find out $$ and schedule a time to come down. Does this Jason Etter work there too? Thanks again
I don't think Keith works exclusively at Eurocycles anymore, though I'm sure they could help you out with what you need. Keith is now running his own business - Total Perfromance, LLC. - contact him at - racer31 at twmi.rr.com Etter is doing his own thing now too.
None of it really means anything. By the way, "The biggest thing in the sky is the sun,... at least size-wise."
Within the last few months from what I know....also it wasn't a bad departure. Those guys are still tight.
Call James Bhathena at Total Racing Solutions (formerly Brighton Superbike). He's Ohlins certified as well, and will be at the track a lot this year. Tell him you talked to me and you'll get some sort of discount .. www.totalracingsolutions.com
Brighton hmmm that's close to the inlaws too. I could kill two birds with one stone. Decend website...I'll have to look them up. Thanks for the info.
