Looking for a trailer spot, possible hotel share from Lakeview Chicago to Grattan 29/30, weather dependent. Camping also a possibility. Willing to split gas/hotel/beer.

PM me if you think you might have a spot.

Guess I'll tag onto this thread...
I'm also considering going to Grattan from Lake Zurich (NW Suburb of Chicago) for 9/29. I'm a noob- no trailer, but don't want to ride that far before and after a track day. If you've got a trailer spot open let me know, we can work out something that's mutually beneficial. Thanks!

Agreed! For my first track day I rode down close to ACC and spent the night, then did the track day and rode home 1+ hours. Totally awesome, but exhausted...
If I crashed at the track it woulda been a totally different story!

I've ridden to ACC. Much prefer to trailer it, but it's not that bad. I don't think I'd ride all the way to Grattan, though. Maybe if you stay at a hotel. You will need food, water, and a full tank of gas.

My first track day (Memorial Day weekend, ACC south course), I rode down that morning and back that evening. A lot of riding for one day, but not as exhausting as a full track weekend. I'm 10 minutes from LZ btw.
