Just want to say I had a great time this Saturday and say big thanks to Felix for his help. I was on the all flat black CBR that almost shot myself across his bow when I stepped it out coming out of 6. The only thing that scared me worse than the thought of what could have happened had I not saved it was what I would have received afterwards that Felix promised he would do to us if we crashed on his watch. :x Anyhow, this weekend was much better than August when it was 105 degrees and 47 in the novice group. Wish I could make it to Barber at the end of the month, but time to work on preparing and saving for next season when I hope to attend many more events. Have a great winter guys and hope to see you all on a more regular basis next spring.
Thanks to STT for an excellent, first track day. It was awesome getting to ride the bike more to its potential than ever dared on the street. I appreciate also the opportunity to get the suspension tuned. For $75, it was like I was riding a new bike. It was well worth the money. I could even tell a difference as I rode across the asphalt at low speed from the garage to the track as my suspension is no longer soft. Immediately after the tune up, I could hang the corners tight with the rest of the pack, instead of fighting a bike that wanted to take corners wide. I'm looking forward to running again. It's nice not having to look out for deer, dogs, police, kangaroos, gravel, and such. You have a great thing going. Thanks!
Just wanted to thank Felix for all the help...He talked me into running novice because I had antifreeze instead of water and I suprisingly still learned alot and had a ton of fun. I also wanted to thank him for coming over and making sure my buddy was OK after his crash. Travis (red honda #77)
I know it has been awhile but I had a good time also. Great mentorship from all the control riders and Felix was the bomb. Definitely a good learning experience. Also, I was curious if there were any photographers there and if they have posted pics? I will be looking forward to my next riding season with STT. Thanks guys. Dan
