Hi everybody! So, I'm told I highsided out of turn 5 on Saturday(1st or second session after lunch). I don't remember it and I was wondering if anyone caught it on video? thanks
Yep. The first thing I remember after lunch is laying in a bed in the UAB ER. I do have some small snippet of a memory where I asked a question and someone said "that's 3 times." Apparently I was asking the same questions over and over.
I didn't see it happen, bur rode past you right after. You were on your back and looked like you were trying to sit up repeatedly. I too highsided coming out of turn 8 today, I was fine tho. Hope you heal up well. Was the bump on the head all you got?
no video but seeing you in the middle of the track was harsh. I hope you get healed up and feeling better!
Turn 5 can be a cruel mistress. High sided there a number of years ago, did not get concussed, but fractured the radius in my left arm. Fun times.
That turn is deceiving for sure.. It has good grip and you can take several lines through there (in, through and out) but I heard some things about that turn that caused me to be a bit more careful through there. I was okay giving up some time there.. Heal up man!!
I started to lose the rear there on Saturday, then decided I'd rather highside coming out of 8 on Sunday instead. It worked out pretty well for me.
