Had a great time this weekend @ Tally despite the Friday night weather.

Needless to say, session 6 I decided I wanted to get evaluated for Advance and get some feedback from a coach. Broome was more than awesome and gave me great feedback. He picked up the pace and showed me some new lines that would help me stand my 1000 up faster which in turn shaved 3 seconds off my lap timer! When I saw it was 3 seconds, I nearly crapped! The fact that I was able to follow someone who pushed my speed a bit more and showed me some better lines really, really helped!

After that session was done, he went through some more details in the pits about T3 & T5 to help pick up some additional speed and was very technical about getting me in and out of the turn. I enjoyed every minute of it. But the best thing was when I went out for the last session and wasn't really pushing it to hard and trying to work on the lines he showed me...and out of nowhere....he passes me and taps his tail. I thought that was just awesome! Not only did he help me the last half of session 6 but now he found me and wants to help me more without me asking! This is by far the best coaching I have gotten from any org at any track hands down!

STT rocks & Chris is the man!

I also had a good experience with Broome in Intermediate on Saturday. It was my first dry day of the year and I was struggling to shake off the rust and get comfortable and up to speed. Broome sought me out and gave me some tips for a couple turns. I always appreciate it when an instructor goes out of their way to help. Sometimes I/we don't know what we don't know but they can see it so easily.

This was my first t-day of the year also, and major suspension modifications and brake modifications over the winter had me really getting use to the bike again. Thankfully Huey was onsite for some tweeking.

My first trackday ever and Huey saved my ass with front brake pads. Still can't believe I showed up with worn pads *facepalm*

It was my pleasure, honestly. It is great to get this kind of feedback; that is why we do it. :)

You were riding really well already. Like I said at the track, I was just pointing out some finer details/tricks to get you to that "next step", you were already riding very well.

Glad to know I was able to help, Thanks again for the feedback. Hopefully we can work together again this year.

I say that alot "I don't know what I don't know". :D Sometimes that is all it takes is just another set of eyes to point out something new to try.

    Glad I could help. :)
