I looked through the manual, but didnt see anything on safety wiring.. I am doing Advanced Group Mem day weekend at Beav... Do i have to safety wire my bike? Or oil filter/drain plug at least??... i plan on it anyway, but i have that week off and it would be easier to do it after the track day...
It is not required, but I would do at least the oil cap, filter, and drain plug. You would hate to have any of those let loose and ruin your day and disrupt everyone else's while they oil dry the track.... Cheap Insurance John
Safety wire not required. A good idea but not required. Helpful hints, take a look at the WERA rule book and even post or look at posts. You can use hair pins or clip pins on bolts you'll take off many times so you don't have cut and replace the wire every time.
yeah ill prob do it - im getting my license the following week with wera, so ill need it anyway.. i already have the clip on my axle nut! lol..
