Ok everyone, this is it!! It's a "be there or be square" thing. The weather is supposed to be perfect and we still have spots open in I/A/and N groups. It's gonna be fun, so don't come crying to us on the Forum that you "miss the track" or say "I wish I was riding". I promise you we won't be nice if you don't show....

    Anyway, who is in?

I went down Mon in turn six. I lost the rear and it spit my over the top. My Tuono is in great shape after the wreck. I bent my shifter back into place and re-installed all my lights reset the flip over switch and she is road worthy again. I am still sore . I landed on my left wrist and shoulder and smacked my right hand on the track. I will be good in a couple days hopefully. I can still ride and I am very lucky. Th e guy with the gray GSXR that got a ride back in the crash truck was not so lucky his bike looked pretty bad. He did not say a word.

I saw three bikes off track at six. I knew it would be slippery. I slowed down and leaned it over a bit nothing sudden and wham the rear end came around with out any warning. There was nothing I could do at that point except relax and wait for the impact. Becareful Next time it starts to rain I am getting off the track immediately. I lucked out this time.

Those rain crashes happen so darn fast and without warning. How those AMA pros go so fast on the edge in the rain I do not understand. I crashed at Road America braking in the rain. Slid and slid and slid ..... just broken ribs. No big deal.

    Rain Tires.

Ill get off the track if it rains too.

get some rains on some spare wheels, its not cheap but once the track has enough water on it you will be surprised how well they will grip but remember every track is different

Hi! I was the novice who rode that last rain session and wanted to thank the instructors who let me out there and rode. :)

I'm VERY happy I did. The lessons I've learned in STT novices classes seemed to really come together for me that session and really made sense. Throttle control and one gear no brake. It was probably my most informative session yet. Also I could actually see the 'line' literally.

None of my prior rain riding experience prepared me at all for Mid-O in the wet. I was surprised how slick some of those patches were even at my grandma pace. I was alarmed by the slight rear tire movement but also afraid to let off the throttle? But sloth-like movement (it was all I could muster  ) of the throttle hand seemed to work for me.

Adam, you were a great rider and it was a lot of fun also to be out there with you.

Hi Devon, how are you?We had a great time at Mid-O in the wet.It was only me,you and one or two other riders out there in the rain. You did a fantastic job out there on a wet race track.Take care and keep in touch.Adam(zebra busa)
