im looking to trade my 95 wrangler automatic for a track bike. if anybody wants to trade let me know. it was running last year now it sits in the garage. i dont drive it anymore finally got it fixed, i lost interest in it. has 174k miles, had some motorwork done to it. and was running fine, did not start or drive it for about 8 months and. i put a new battery in it and it started right up but just dies when i step on the gas. other than that everything else works. http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/4547027918.html 224 425 9047 mattie
Worth a shot though and change the filter again, don't take long with todays fuel plus a little water may have gotten in the tank after sitting for a while. It does sound like fuel delivery, it's getting just enough fuel to let it idle.
i wish i know how to do that,, i googled it i think i have to take the gas tank down to change it, right,
You shouldn't have too but I'm not sure on that year. The filter should be inside the frame rail towards the back of the vehicle close to the tank or along the frame rail under the drivers door, about the size of a soda can. Be sure to depressurize the system of fuel first or you will get wet.
finally got it fixed, had a mechanic shop pick it up and fix it, they are almost done, the jeep should be up and running by the end of the week, if anybody is interested, please let me know.
