What bike were they on and what cold pressures did you run?

I have to re state my original post.

I actually got 3 full days on the Power 1 2ct.( Commercial)

I run a pretty fast lap at Nelsons around 1:17 +/- whatever I feel like exaggerating.

Over all I like the tires and am just trying to get a handle on what pressure these are best at. Even when they got greasy I never felt like I was going to let go.
I used to run the PP for durability and over all had great experiences with them, I could get 4 days easy and still have tread left before I would spoon on a new pair. The Power 1 commercial seems to be a lot closer in durability to when I occassionally run race tires like the SBTG PR4/ PRC combo and two days on a rear was it.

Im on a new bike this season and maybe that has a lot to do with it too. I've got 4 1/2 days on an 08 GSXR 750 with Penske triple, fork work, and Mega Max Suspension set up. I have heard that the GSXR 750's can be pretty hard on a rear tire but I am coming over from a 749s that I thought was pretty hard on tires too. I don't think its my riding style since Im not a camp in the turns and then whack it down the straight kind of guy. Im pretty smooth ( at least I think I am). However, the new bike is considerably easier to ride fast and I may be cracking the throttle a lot harder and earlier cause it likes it.

that probably is tghe case. I think the aggregate or whatever you call it (the rocks) come to the surface quicker down here with the heat of summer.. I think the tar gets pulled out. Most of our tracks seem to be fairly abrasive.

    I had settled on cold pressures of 30F 28R on a '04 GSXR 600 with -1/+2 sprockets.

Just bought a set of these tires for upper Novice RACE use on an SV650 SS..... Do you think I should be ok with these at race pace since I'm on an SV anyway?
