For Sale: 1 set of Michelin Power Pure tires. The rear is a 180/55 and front is 120/70. The tires were purchased though STT at an Autobahn trackday. These tire have been used for 1 trackday (Novice group) and have lees than 75 miles on them. I got a new set of Pirellis and they suit my bike much better so I'm selling these.

    Asking $200/obo for the set.

Just curious as to why the Power Pure did not meet expectations & some sort of Pirelli is working out? Did you talk to David Grey about your concerns with the Power Pure? He should have answers for you.

    What bike are these on?

What tracks do you normally ride?

Your opinion of the Pros and cons of both tires would be nice to know.

    Thanks a bunch!

I typically ride the Intermediate group in the midwest...mostly Autobahn, Blackhawk, and Road America.

The tires were on my 2005 Suzuki SV1000S.

I haven't taked to anyone specifically regarding the performance of the tires. The turn in felt very abrupt, and overall the tire felt "squirrely" to me, for lack of a better term. As an intermediate rider, confidence obviously plays a big part in my track day enjoyment/improvement and the Pirellis just felt like they kept the bike much more planted and predictable. I've heard rave reviews for the Pures...it just seems they weren't a good match for my bike...

Hope this helps and any other questions please let me know
