I REALLY wanted to get in the 33's but I need to get the chicane and T10,11,12 better for that.

Great seeing you out there, Rick as well as a few others racing with WERA.

It was even cooler seeing Dave Gray out and about all week at the track days and such. He was even cool enough to give me some tank pads grip stuff. Worked AWESOME!!! Dave is as always, one of the most giving dudes in the paddock...

We had a pretty rough day Wednesday. The fuel pump regulator went south before practice. I tried to roll out and got maybe halfway to turn 2 and she shut down. We missed the rest of the day as I loaded her up and traveled to Cleveland where the Northern Ohio Ducati Triumph guys helped diagnose the issue and we found out the pump was bad.

They gave me the pump out of their demo and we were back in business!!

Thursday was rough at the start also. Got what? 6 laps in? Chased Stymie around for as long as I could and just needed to make some small adjustments. Not having that second practice made me a little sketched out, but I am not a knob turner so I wasn't too worried.

But, due to being a bone head, I got a new set of wheels for the bike and did not get the phonic wheel put on the rotor. So, on the out lap for the first race, the bike thought it was doing wheelies the whole time. At least I know the wheelie control works!!!

In any case, missed the race 1 and got in Race 2 and 3...

Ran OK, I suppose with the low amount of track time vs. Stymie and Gene. Stymie and Gene were on their A Games and I had nothing for either of them. They both were running mid 31s and I almost got 32s... I think had we been able to race and practice Wednesday, we would have been in the hunt. While not probably on their tails through the race, at least in the hunt. I think we could have got the high 31s...

Race 3 was good. Flag to flag. Just kept watching the difference and rode smart and conservatively. Still got a few good laps in, but was on cruise to save things like the tires, etc...

Kyle Hunter made the bike and myself look a lot better than we finished...

Big Kudos to Carr Moto and the Ducati Indy team for getting my suspension dialed. Commonwealth Racing for doing a bang up job on the mapping for the race and to Northern Ohio Ducati Triumph for the loaner fuel pump. Couldn't have had the results without these guys!

Hopefully, a few of you will travel to Putnam to race with us next weekend. I know a lot go to Grattan, but maybe a few will make the trek...

Been there several times for track days. They do a good job.

Similar structure to STT (Novice, Int, Adv) only you self-select when signing up on their website. For that reason I would say that their "I" group is a little slower then STT "I" group, but it's a longer track so lot's of places to pass. Another nice thing is that they include lunch with the price of the track days and there's no gate fee. You can camp out too and they have a shower facility.

Can't make the WERA races but I will definitely be down there for the 22nd and 23rd of July for track days....

    P.S. LOVE THAT TRACK!

Hmmm! Similar structure to STT. I wonder why that is? Oh, and free lunch. What a novel idea, eh? Nope, no bad blood here
