I rode the August 4 and 5 at Road Atlanta. I hear the next day Miguel Duhamel crashed on the last turn (t12) into air bags and hay bales while practicing.

He said he does not mind broken bones. Its the internal bleeding and injeries that bother him.

If I owened that Road Altnata I think I would move that tower. Just a thought that keeps re-occoring.

P.S. I was reaching for seventh gear on Road Atlanta and remember looking at the track as a child while racing AMA 100 CC class.

Its not just the tower... Its the Retaining wall, Pits, Fence and even Parking Lot... Its very easy to say it can be done but in my opinion it will never be done... It would be easier to shorten the turn than stick it out but that too will cost Millions..

yeah there really doesn't seem to be any way to move the wall back. It would be easier to do away with the infield paddock and reconfigure the whole corner and straight all the way to T1
