Hey guys, I'm doing my second track day ( first was with nesba @ NJMP Lightning )......but this is my first with STT. I just want to know what I need in regards to STT and Absolute cycle ( who I was told is running this event ). I dont want any surprises........If I go by my checklist from my day with nesba, will I be ok, or are there any changes I need to know about?

    I have the basics....

    Clean bike - 07' 1000rr ( with my key, lol )
lights taped / mirrors off, good tires ect...
Copy of the email form from registering for the event
    ID
    Leathers
    gaunlet gloves
    boots
2 good helmets ( just in case )
    Food
water ( lots of it )
    stands
conopy / enclosed trailer to get out of the sun
    5 gallons extra gas
    tire pump / gauge
    basic tool set
other misc. things ( tape, rags, cleaner and so on ... )

Any input would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks !!

    Lee

i'll be in the beginner ( intro ) group.......are they the same? Either way i'm a noob to trackdays., but been sportbike riding for 8+ years.

I did quite well at NJMP when I was there with nesba last month. My buddy and I started off in the slowest group in the beginner class ( obviously since we have never been to a track before ), but at the later part of the day we were in the middle / front of the group and hangin' well with them.

I feel like I have a good grasp of what to do out there as a beginner, but I need to learn the art of body positioning though. One of the control riders said I was doing great with my speed, markers and lines, but I wasnt getting off the bike at all........so that is what I want to work on....amongst other things too.

Ego will be checked at the door.....dont worry.
