I'll be bringing the smoker back to Barber for the season finale weekend of Oct. 27th. Like last March, I'll have: BBQ'd pulled pork Leg of Lamb Baked Beans Slaw I'm also planning to smoke a brisket and I may have some other goodies. everyone is welcome & y'all are encouraged to bring something to contribute, too. Brought the Q to BeaverRun, in PA, last weekend. Fed about 40 & a good time was had by most. Looking forward to getting back to Alabama and seeing friends old & new. We've got people heading there from all over; several guys from the Northeast are heading down, a sizable contingent from Michigan is expected, as is Johnny Laconte & cheeseheads from Shadow Video-Wisconsin. This is goonna be a great end to the season. I'll start cooking next week. In thhe mean time, here's a few shots from this spring at Barber to get the saliva flowing:
Saturday evening, around 7:00 pm. The smoker gets fired up around 5:30 am and the meat cooks all day long. Bubbles, shall I assume that Audrey & Annie will be in tow, too? this one may be the best yet! Lance
Lance what else will you need? Chips? Forks Napkins? Slaw? I usually make Quesadilla's but I dont think thats gonna go well with BBQ...I am hoping to be there to Coach for Sunday but waiting on the request to be sent.. Let me know.. Thanks Marc

Lance, How about letting us know what you don't have. That way we will know what we can provide. Utinsils, side dishes, desert? Or all of the above?
I don't have sides (other than cole slaw & baked beans) or dessert. I've got buns, plates, forks, paper towels etc. So sides & dessert! Lance
