Oh yea, forgot to say I was in for both days as well. Chris where are u coming from? Is there nobody else going? I find that hard to believe. Must be too hot for everyone
I am in for Sunday only with four others (five total) from Columbus, Ohio area. Three of us our women. That is a complete first for me. Girls out-numbering the guys in my group! Sweet!!! I signed up for Advanced hoping the track doesn't take too long to get comfortable with getting up to speed. Haven't been there since 2004 when I was a bottom of the group intermediate rider. It was the first place I drug knee so this track has a special spot in my heart.
Track is wonderful and one of the more popular favs in the midwest. Fast and flowing. Where u coming from?
Im usually the only one coming from Northern Michigan...Traverse City to be exact Thanks for the info. Simon
Track is very grippy, fun flowing track. This track can eat up some tires. Can be dangerous if you don't respect it (guess that's just about any track). Mostly right turns,

How is it dangerous? I thought with how much run off there was (in most turns) it was relatively safe if you go off-roading.
Seems pretty safe to me, except for maybe turn 10, which still isn't really THAT bad. Just have to keep a little in reserve through there. I'm in for Sunday.
I don't think he meant safety dangerous. There is a ton of run-off with the exception of turn 10 which I believe does have an airfence. Dangerous by high speed and turn 4 which is a fast off camber left hander which catches alot of guys. I had a friend who went off track there earlier this year at over 100mph and had plenty of runoff to slow down before he got to the other side of the track at dead bear. can't wait for the weekend.
Thats pretty much what I was saying. Turn 4 b/c its the first left hander and on cold tires will catch you off guard. Turn 10 b/c of the railing, other than that it's cool.
Great weekend. Lots of crashes on sunday probably due to the increased crowd on sunday compared to saturday. There were alot of complaints about aggressive riding in the I and A groups but you never know who is in the right and who is in the wrong, very hard to say but what are you going to do. I am a little disappointed that STT seemed to over book the I and A groups. That doesn't help the situation but it's not my call. I am just glad to be there and have the track time. Chris it was great to meet u. Hope your weekend wasn't ruined to bad by some of the people's aggression out there. I know it can be frustrating when guys are riding like jerks. Hope to see you at autobahn here in about a week and Half. You will have to show me around the track. It will be my first on the north course as you know.
Paul, Yeah it was crowded and a little hairy at times on Sunday, but I still had a good time . Seemed like there was a crash every session. Good to meet you, I'm in for Autobahn, should be a blast. PM me your info and we can pit together. There should be a big group of us out there.
