Went to R.A. last Sunday to watch the Pros.... Wow I had to see or hear this traction control for myself .I could not hear anything unusal from the yosh bikes .Excpt Spies and Maladin just carried more speed through the kink than anyone else . Arron Yates is a very cool guy ,The most outgoing Pro I saw there [/img] [/img]Umbrella girls were hot . The umbella can also be used to ward off pesky spectators :wink: ouch Duhamel was ringing out that Honda for all it was worth .You cant see the work he puts into it on TV . There were so many damn comercials I decided to give up on Speed cannel ,get off my ass and see it in person.Glad I did .
Unfortunately I just saw the race on TV. Road America did look like a ton of fun though. I definitely want to go to the one track day that I saw on the site here this summer. (Of course I wouldn't even be riding anywhere even close to the speed of what I saw in the races )
On the traction control thing, SuperbikePlanet posted someone's home video. The only thing I could see from that was Mladin hitting the rev limiter; perhaps, because he was going quicker through that section, a gear lower there, and/or his gearing was different.
Could be but with the Yoshimura team it isn't. Mat wouldn't risk ruining his chance at another championship with something he doesn't need.
