Roll Call: Putnam Park Road Course July 16/17

Just wanted to give a bit of notice about the upcoming Sportbike Track Time track day event on July 16/17 at Putnam Park Road Course. Be sure to grab your spots soon as the event is sure to sell out and is the following weekend!

Also, If you want to rent a garage at Putnam all you have to do is email nick@sportbiktracktime.com and request a garage be reserved. One requirement is that you have to already purchased the track day event date(s) you will be attending. In that email to Nick, please include the STT invoice that you have a track day purchased for the date you want a rental garage. The garages are only $25.00 per day and payment is collected trackside and in cash only. Be sure to tag and share this post with those that should know to get their sports soon!

Let's talk Putnam Park for a second. I can't wait to ride there again! Turns, 1, 2, 3, 4 are my favorite for some reason. If you haven't ridden here yet, nows the time! Who's in?

Will be there Saturday, my first STT event. So starting in Novice, will see if I get bumped.
Looking forward to meeting many here.

I live in Clermont, about 28 miles from the track. Anyone needs a place to camp, etc the door is always open.
Have 2 spare rooms, one may be taken. Also have a blow up and a long couch.

Im in for Saturday! Is there a Yamaha demo day there? When I go to checkout, it says there is, but on the Yamaha website, The Putnam date isn't listed.

I dont know if this is the right place to post so please correct me if you think this should go else where:

I will be at Putnam Sat & Sun and will drive out of Chicago on Friday with the intention of dropping off everything at the track before heading to the hotel. I live in Lincoln Park.

If anyone is interested in carpooling let me know. I usually rent a uhaul trailer for one motorcycle and hook it up to my wife's SUV. I can rent a larger trailer or if you want to use your truck & trailer I will happily split the gas costs. My main motivation is not doing a longer drive by myself and knowing that if someone gets hurt and needs meds there is another driver for the ride back.

 

I'm not 100% sure.. but you most likely will not be able to drop your stuff off on Friday night.. the track will be closed as they do not allow camping.. you may however leave your stuff there from sat to sunday...

 

This is good to know! So I will probably have to rent an enclosed trailer and lock it to the car. I will email Nick unless someone can confirm this.

 

Another member has confirmed that we wont have access until Sat.
