Hey, newbie here!! Tried to get the 3rd off work but couldn't... I'm in for the 4th! I was an upper-mid pack intermediate rider with a different group for a few years, but I've been out of it for a few years now. So it's back to Novice for me. Just got a new bike and gotta jump back in. First track day in three years! I always loved RA in the past. Can't wait to get back there!!!

I am getting the itch again...It has been a month since mid ohio.

 

The weather looks fantastic for both STT days! :thumb:

 

I will be there all four days. Banged up so I cant ride but where else would I be?

You'll be paying the usual $5 per day, plus $25 for the CCS gate fee for the race weekend, which will be refunded to you when you leave!

If you're only attending Thursday, you'll get $30 back Thursday night when you leave. If you're only attending Friday, you'll pay $30 and get $25 back when you leave Friday night.

** It's not an ideal situation, but it's the best option CCS has. This is requested of us by CCS so that racers don't have to pack up and leave the pits Friday night. **

There are ATMs in Elkhart Lake and Plymouth. If you don't bring cash, you'll have to leave and come back, which is super fun when you're towing a trailer.

 

I would love to make it..... You guys have a blast.... I already miss my Northern Buddies!!!

Anybody have any updates on pictures from sideline sports photography?

 

At ACC, I believe they said then it would take a couple weeks.

 

Had a blast riding the 3rd and 4th. Thanks to Sebastian and Dan (I think) for the pointers, it seemed like this time everything just started clicking for me. It was good seeing the rest of the familiar faces as well. Thanks to STT and Nick for putting together such a well run event. My only complaint is that there's not another STT road america date until next year. :wheel:

 

I'll add that I really got a lot out of the I-group classroom. The teacher (Brian? sorry) did a great job of explaining rider-bike-road mechanics. I finally understand what trail braking does. And how to navigate the Bend.

 

Anyone know if there was a photographer there? (Gron4?) Looking for photos from Friday-Sunday (including CCS races)...
