Have you guys run Shenandoah yet? If you have, what layout did you run? Does anybody have a map of the circuit you ran?

What did you think of it? Safe? Boring?

I don't think anyone but TPM offers dates there? Not sure. All I remember is when Reduc was in existence, they thought it was too dangerous and wouldn't book any dates there. Concrete walls everywhere. I personally wouldn't want to ride it. There's enough walls at Pocono for me!

If you've ever seen the track, you'll know why no one in their right mind will run it.

At the last Summit event, I took a ride over there to see what all fo the fuss was about. I just couldn't believe I was looking at a finished race track. The entire course has walls around it, like a bobsled run. And the bowl . . . you just have to see it to believe it. UnGodly waste of money and human effort. They could have paved the main track 5 times for the money they spent on the Shenandoah track.

Yes, I have seen it Rich. We (Woodbridge Kart Club) WKC are having a free practice their the 19th. A bunch of us are going to be testing it out.

I have heard negative things about it myself. Back in 01 I think Julio and I where in the shop and they showed us a layout plan, and we saw the walls.

The murmerings are and have been, that Bill Scot wants the karters and bikes off the Main course. Not enough revenue I presume.

Our Club has a race event at Shenandoah in September.

Some of our members ran their earlier in the year to check it out, and the revues where mixed.

I saw some on board bike video (sounded like a big twin) and didnt get out of 1st gear.

    Painful to watch.

We'll see what happens Rich. I'll be happy to let you know.
