So I have an 06 ducati 999 that unforunately didn't come with the ohlins steering dampner only the factory one ducati put on it. I would love to get it but the used market is almost as expensive as the brand new one and I don't have the coin to blow six hundred bucks on it nor do I want too considering I might get a new bike next season. I have been told the stock one can be rebuilt with I guess thicker oil to make it dampin better. Just tired of the sketchy wheel shake after excelleration wheelies coming out of the corners. Now after being told this can be done no one has given me an idea who can do it. Any suggestions would be great!
