A WERA racer had his bike stolen...let's keep eye out for him

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    All,
Last race weekend a red 2006 R6 was stolen from North Garage #3 at Loudon. The race number is #960 and it was quite a trick R6, with built superbike motor, brembo mono block brakes, mag wheels, etc. There is a $3,000 finders fee with no questions asked if the bike turns up again.

I also have a detailed description of many of the parts, incl. marked engine parts, and other obviously race related blemishes or serial numbers. So if you see any 2006 R6 parts being auctioned off somewhere where you think it could fit, please let me know or give me a call at 978-376-8928.

I am still shocked that someone just stole a bike out of our garage......and I sure hope they find those damn bastards and put 'em behind bars with a bunch or masochistic mo..fu...ers

    ATTENTION ALL

    New "safety rule"...

Don't get caught trying to do this at one of our events...it's for your own safety. In case you do get caught make sure you have a cell phone to call for help...especially if I catch you

Got any photos? Sure would be helpful for those of us not familiary with the bike to help identify parts.

I would also set up an eBay trap. Put an add on eBay in the R6 section, Make like it's an add for bike/parts for sale and have people contact you if you find a better price on similar things. This may help you track it down, for I'm 90% sure some of that will go up on eBay.

Make sure you show pictures so someone can say "hey, I can get that same R6 monoblock caliper from xxxxx, and his was cheaper." Get that user's ID and sick the powers of Johny Law. I believe it's a federal crime to sell stolen merchandise across state lines, but i could be wrong. Either way, eBay doens't want to be know as a source for stolen items, so I'm sure you'll have their full support.

Having details of your bike and parts was a good thing. Something that most of us tend to forget. i'm going to photograph and document both of my bike tonight.
