at the end of the day at summit main, a few weeks ago, there was a mention of a possibility of adding Summit Main on Friday, July 20, to the july 21 & 22 Summit Point "Jefferson" weekend. has there been any traction on this? personally, I'm not sure f i'd want to drive 3 hours to ride a little cart track,(I probably will anyway) but throw Main into the mix and I'll bring BBQ! Lance- There was talk of this at the end of our last track day. David mentioned that it may be possible to book summit main for the Friday before we run the Jefferson circuit the following sat and sun. The question was asked.... would people want to run the main course on Friday then stay for sat and sun on Jefferson. There is talk about making that a three day event with camping, BBQ and other special events. who would do it. July 20 on the main, July 21,22 on Jefferson. sound off
I would run both Main and Jefferson, but only the Motard would go on Jefferson. Traction is not that much of an issue on that bike.
So , what's going on? is this a no go? are we the onty three interested? I'd love to ride Summit Main with a bike that was running properly...
I think Monday would be a better option for Summit Main. That's a tough transition the Main course to the Jefferson curcit.
