just got back from summit Jefferson and i just wanted to say it was the best track i ran all year....(better then summit main) fast in some places and technical in other.

ok it was a short layout.....so what, that just gave me more opportunity to shreed my tire coming out of the long left-hander.

we ran it clockwise on sat then counter clockwise on Sunday. it was like running two tracks in one weekend. For all of you who didn't make it I say you really missed out.

lance your BBQ was outstanding, can we do that again at beaver? please, please.

thanks to david, renard, mike, betsy for putting together a great event. also thank to frank at chronic motorsports for all his help getting my bike set up.

I must agree... although I only got to do Sunday because of work, I still had a great time. Everyone was really friendly, and the amount of instruction in the Novice group is outstanding. With what I learned in the morning sessions, I was able to drag knee for the very first time!!

Thanks to all for putting on a very well run event. Hopefully you all will come to Summit more often next year.

I had a great weekend (good therapy for my ankle) Its been about 4 yrs since i was there and forgot how Good the track is for every level of rider.
Meeting all the new people from the DC area... you guys are lucky to have summit so close I have to drive 6 hrs to get there. Anyway I hope Sportbiketracktime gets more dates there next year please get the word out about the club and let Monte know how you feel about your weekend.

sorry i missed the event- but you gotta pay the bills!

i think kev's crazy if he thinks that it's better than the main track- but what do i know, i've never run jeferson.

    i'll be there next round.

i really liked the jefferson circut. it had a really good flow. (do i dare say it was even better then beaver.)it had both slow and mid speed corners, good braking zones, passing zones. definitely a riders track. i wore out my front tire running clockwise, then my back tire running counter.

it was fun in both directions. what else could you want?

a faster long strait maybe, but i would trade that for a track that demands your attention in the corners.

i would go back there in a second

    Kev,
It's pushing it to say "better than Beaver" but yeah, a fun Track nonetheless, especially on David's pseudo-super-moto!
