Had a great time! The cook out was great. Thanks to everyone that brought food. It was great seeing eveyone except Cam. T, can you turn down the heat for the next event please?
another good job by all involved great weekend! kickin' food, good coaching (as usual), and we were pitted far enough from jimbo that he only bothered us a few times. looking forward to barber. good job everyone. jimbo, just kidding; you bothered us more than a few times. special thanks to cindy for cooking and all who brought food/etc.
Obviously they have never sat in an 03-04 600rr seat they suck. This is why i got decent at hanging off:nod:
Super weekend. Great food, great riders, even got to watch cyndi tear up the corners on her bike. Can't wait to go back again
Thanks alot to all the staff. Had a great time and a few guys even helped to get my buddies RR up for a few more sessions out on the track. That alone makes STT worth going anywhere with.
Peggy and I had a great time this weekend, in spite of the heat. We enjoyed the cookout on Saturday evening, meeting some new people (both customers and staff), and of course running at one of my favorite tracks......Tally!! We sure would like to do it again if something opens up for that track. Now, on to getting everything ready for Barber in two weeks. :bounce:
A few laps of some rock star video for ya....had a great time with you and Peggy this weekend.
Thanks for posting that Charlie. We enjoyed pitting next to you also and had a great time this weekend. After watching that, I still have some work to do on my body positioning, but it's getting better.
Thanks everyone for another great weekend. Special thanks to Charlie for helping my son chase away some demons from his get-off at Barber. And in case they read this forum, thanks also to Reggie and Allison from Athens for the excellent suspension setup advice and encouragement. Despite the heat, it was a great time. I managed to get a shot of Trevor on the 125 that I thought I'd share.
My pleasure sir. Your son looked great, he just needed us out of his way! You looked great as well. You've made progress since your last time out at Barber. That is what it is all about. Glad you had a great time. Uh, no comment on your pic...
Oh come on! How could you not comment on that pic! We are all family here, let the love fly Charlie. Get Trevor to fire you on the forum. That's when you know you have truly been accepted:caked:
Ok, so first of all, even though Monday I suffered a slight mishap on the turn 3 (the rightie), I had the BEST time this weekend! Thanks to all of you for the excellent coaching, encouragement, advice, and for dealing with a different side of me on Monday for a while. John, it was wonderful to meet you and Logan. Reggie and I admire the father-son bond you guys share. Logan went on and on about how lucky he is to have these times with you. It's obvious he respects the hell out of you. We'll see you again very soon I'm sure. And we were MORE than happy to help.
If anyone's got vids from intermediate I'd like to get them from you. My brother was going to take video until he found out he doesn't know how to work one of the two buttons on the camera. lol
Glad you had a good time and hope your mishap didn't take too much of a tole on you or your bike. See you two out there again soon
Just kidding Trevor! You have much better body position than that bear. Seriously, you and your staff run a great event. Your words in the riders' meetings were a real class act.
